This is what action I took this AM. I may have identified the issue _ NOT SURE – I will try the following and then update you or start on what you requested below. TKS.
Matt Suess - I need wine!! And it's still morning here!! :) I went through every folder and every photo (details) of the photos that I referenced L3 to. Again, Catalog to Windows 10 Pictures Folder and modified "where’s yr photos" to External Drive w/one Folder only. It is CLEAN - no erroneous typos or characters. Only ( _ ) before photo number or a period (.) before .jpeg or RAF. The ONLY thing I can see strange may be the Folder named or labeled "Lmr Aurora" (no quotes). I established this to place my EDITED photos in. This was done in L18 to organize files ie. Originals & Edited filed/located separately. I carried that organization to L3 on the WD external drive. In that "Lmr Aurora" folder, I DID HAVE some files labeled as Blah Blah_0001.lmr and a few with Blah Blah_0001.auh Maybe the ones labeled .auh messed up the entire system but that does not explain why where a folder showed 21 total photos contained within it - - - when it opened in Library Pane, there were ONLY say 7 real photos and 14 blank Black Boxes with the warning triangle. The total number of boxes matched the number shown in the RT Panel so it's catching something. But the Black Boxes do NOT match the number of files with the .auh tag. NEXT, I will completely delete the Luminar download and install executed from my PC and then try to re-download the software again with a clean slate. I will set up a dummy folder and load some copied and pasted - - ONLY JPEG's in there without any referencing Aurora at all. Skylum is still suggesting that am receiving alert emails and have a temporary free L3 Version due to utilizing a new email address to download and register my copy. NO NOT true. Same email and I copied the registration code from L18 to insert to the registration of the new L3. Maybe the new download will clear that up. TKS Matt. Keep you posted. Merle.
