Much improvement over previous releases
I am a Windows 10 user and I am excited to report that I was able to successfully edit photos in Luminar 3. The previous versions were plagued with performance issues. The new version is still seems slow at times, but I am able to get through an edit workflow without problems. Many folders were already there from my previous add with the old version, but I did add a folder that had 280 JPG images and it did add the folder/create thumbnails fairly quickly. Previously, I tried to add folders containing about 100,000 images. So I can't compare the image load time with a large volume. Startup time of Luminar 3 is also greatly improved. 30 seconds versus 4 minutes.
I really wish that the library showed the file name (at least on hovering the mouse over the thumbnail). Current behavior makes it difficult to know which file I want to edit when there are similar photos of the same subject. Not knowing the filename makes the Library function almost useless.
I also wish that I was able to easily tell which photos were edited. The little button image on the thumbnail in the corner of an edited file is impossible to see because it is white and blends into the photo. I don't like that I have to change the display to "Edited" photos just to figure out what I have edited.
I did run into a slight issue with Looks. When clicking on a look, there was a case where 2 looks were selected at the same time. I don't think that the photo had multiple looks actually applied, but the interface of the Looks selection area showed that 2 looks were selected. I have no clue how to re-create on demand. I have attached a screenshot (see bottom right of image).

Hi Mitch,
I'm glad to hear that the update is running well for you!
Showing the file name in the Library is on our feature request list so hopefully we can add this functionality in the future. I agree it would be helpful.
I'll pass the suggestion to our developers to make the edited icon a bit more noticable.
With regard to the issue with the Looks - if it happens again, please note the exact steps that led to it and let us know here or by contacting us at www.skylum.com/support.
