Using Luminar with plugins
I have had issues getting Luminar to work properly with some of my plugins. With some, like the Topaz set, I generally do not have a problem but some just do not seem to work. These plugins work properly with Photoshop, but not Luminar. Two examples:
1) PTLens
Luminar has distortion correction functionality for raw images in the RAW edit filter but it does not work well enough with Fisheye lens distortion to fully correct the images. I use a FE lens as an UWA lens and try to correct the distortion in PP but when I call the PTLens plugin all I get is a completely white image and PTLens does not even start. See this screen shot:
2) Dxo's ViewPoint 3
One alternate to PTLens is Dxo's ViewPoint 3. This plugin allows an extremely wide range of adjustments, including enough correction to fix a FE lens. When I call the ViewPoint3 plugin it does start, and it displays the image correctly. I fix the image and save it back to Luminar, but get this:
As you can see I end up with the choice of a white image or a black image. Since both of these tools work properly with other editors I assume the issue is with the Luminar plugin functionality.
How do others correct this kind of distortion?

I posted this about 7 months ago and was assured it would be addressed in upcoming releases. I am now on 3.1.2 and I still have the exact same issues - PTLens does not run and L3 displays a white screen and Dxo ViewPoint 3 runs, but returns but L3 displays a black screen.
As far as I can see absolutely nothing has been done to address these issues.
As far as I can tell this is the only place where I can submit an issue like this. I tried going to the L3 site to report this (again) as an issue, but there does not seem to be any "Submit a Bug" link and the "Contact Skylum" link only takes me to an area to submit non-technical issues. The web page specifies:
Questions related to installing, updating, reinstalling, and troubleshooting.
This is none of those, so where am I supposed to report this issue?

@Helga Rowles
The Technical Support entry is what I used, but the explanation when entering your request specifically states that it is only for
Questions related to installing, updating, reinstalling, and troubleshooting.
as I posted above. This is not an install, update, reinstall or troubleshooting question so apparently does not belong in that location.

Hi Mark,
Luminar 3 currently works with most 3rd-party Photoshop plugins. If you're having issues with a plugin, please contact us at www.skylum.com/support and we'll be happy to help.
