Luminar Windows - Choose Image Cache location
AnsweredHi,
I am using Luminar for Windows and syncing the Catalog to Google Drive. Google Drive is hooked up with Google Photos so that my DSLR Fotos are also showing up there.
However unlike the Mac version (correct me if I am wrong) the Windows version saves its cached jpegs near the catalog folder. This causes a problem: Google Photos now is indexing those images and I have duplicates.
Question: is it, or will it be possible to move the cache location somewhere else? That way I would only sync the catalogue itself and not the cached images

Hi KloPapa,
You can move your catalog folder (with the cache) to an external drive or cloud drive that is locally synced, if you wish. However, please do not move the cache file(s) out of the Luminar Library folder.
You can also choose where to store your Luminar catalog folder during your initial setup of the software. The default is your Pictures folder, but you can set a different location if you like.
