I have been photographing the world around me ever since I can remember. The vast number of photos I've amassed is mind-boggling; frankly, they stress me out. I photograph my world as a child might capture butterflies in a hoop and net. Managing the avalanche of photos, even after one day's shoot can be frustrating. I want to keep them all and throw all of them away. I have yet to find a duplicate finder that I trust. I wish that software was intelligent enough, or metadata were in place to recognize those photos I have shot bracketed, without having to hunt and pick. I love many of the new features of Luminar 3, though by default this program often goes too far and the photos end up looking fake. This is one reason I do not yet feel comfortable with bulk automation of any particular shoot. Coming from a life in I.T. I always wondered why it needed to be so difficult in getting the results I want if I have missed the mark in the initial shot only to live in post-production. I think this is what I like the most about Skylum software, it does cut down the drudgery in delivering breathtaking results. If there are focus groups or ways in which I can participate on the sidewalk of development it would be exciting. There are many things with Skylums software I've asked for from A nother graphics production company which has fallen on deaf ears.
