Anyone know the refund policy and the alternative?
I really need to edit my images. I’m away from home at the moment and Luminar 3 looked the best alternative to LR. But as we all know - it’s a bit of a disaster.
So, how do we get a refund and “give back the keys”? Has anyone done this or found out how?
And what is the best alternate to LF, with a DAM?

By far the closest alternative for now is ON1. Great features, although it doesn't quite have the pazzaz that Luminar COULD have offered, it's fairly bulletproof, no subscription, and the DAM is excellent. I've switched back over as I can't see Luminar (for Windows at least) being viable for some time.

How do I apply for a refund?
Provide us with as much of the following information as possible so we can locate your purchase:
- The email address used for your purchase
- Any alternate email addresses you may have used for your purchase
- Your order number (it should look something like MACXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXXX, where X is a digit)
- Your PayPal receipt
- Transaction details from your bank
We have a 45-day money back guarantee.

Haha. It won’t be long before his thread gets removed maybe. Hopefully not. If the product that was advertised as a release ready application, makes people ask for a refund - I guess maybe they will try fix it quick? But ..... from what I hear .... and the “advice from skylum), which is none existent- means we need to find an alternative.

@Angela: I can totally understand, that it must be very frustrating for the support having to deal with all these customers complaining all the time (and not always in an appropriate manner). But the answer to people blaming skylum for not living up to the hype shouldn't be to tell them to get their money back and leave. You will have an amazing program when you got the bugs sorted out and performance (which is already better) fixed. But you'll need loyal users as well.
Happy new year in advance, everyone. -
Yeah. That’s pretty sad. I’m fortunate to be English speaking. Except when it comes to German Porn - but that’s a different issue. (Joking! :) ).
I’ve emailed Skylum for a refund, asking what they need. Got an automatic reply saying that ymthey are currently overwhelmed with emails and that I can check the FAQ. Mmmmm

I don't trust them to fix anything. As I asked them for a refund for luminar 3 as it was terribly unstable. I tried luminar 4 it's painfully slow. Skylum appears to be excellent at marketing and not delivering on their promises. I hope that I get my refund as I was stupid enough to order luminar 4. Best of luck to everyone in finding solutions that work for you.

Listened to all the Luminar shills on you tube and bought the hype. Live and learn. Have spent 4 hours trying to open NEO and AI, no luck. Consider my money gone. Absolutely no customer support. No one you can contact.
Support is a web page with a computer program that does nothing. Fastspring is no help either.
Buyer beware.

Hi Robert!
Please note that our support team usually responds within 24 hours. We do our best to get back to each and every one of the customers, who reach out to us, ASAP but due to a high amount of requests, we cannot always reply immediately. Hope for your understanding
As far as activation of the apps is concerned, I replied to you in this thread as well, please check it: https://community.skylum.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/4415381105042-NEO-and-AI-activation
