Importing from iPhoto / Photos
I have my pictures in several different "libraries" in iPhoto and Photos and want to get them out of there and into a file folder so I can use Luminar. Do I just export them from iPhoto and Photos to a file folder on my hard drive?
Now this next question may be more of an iPhoto / Photos question but I will give it a shot. When I export a photo from either iPhoto or Photos sometimes it is larger than the original and sometimes it is smaller (mb) I don't know why. I am afraid to export my entire library and find out I have lost some quality in the photos or aded something to them during the export. I want to get rid of iPhoto / Photos completely.

Hi Judie,
Please try the following.
In Finder, go to Pictures > right-click or ctrl-click on the Photos Library > Show Package Contents > drag the Masters folder to the Favorites bar on the left - now Luminar 3 can see the folder and import the originals from it.
