    Hi Jan!

That solely depends on a size of your hard drive. Several preview images are generated for an image while you are working on it (preview of different sizes). The gist of it is quite simple - the more space you allocate to the cache, the more image previews your system stores, which in turn can mean less preview reload (old or unused entries are overwritten)

If your collection is not as big, you can leave everything "as is". If your collection is hundreds of thousands images in size, I`d suggest adding a few GB of cache space, just to be sure.

Sure be nice if there were a searchable User Guide where one could find info like this.

    Hi John,

Currently, we have a Luminar 3 user guide in a pdf format: https://www.dropbox.com/s/2fhnni2xdvlthda/Luminar%20User%20Guide_1.pdf?dl=0

However, kindly note that, at the moment, it does not include the description of the latest features that were added to Luminar in the new updates.

Thank you - appreciate the link. Don't know if this was a new feature or not, but there's no mention of Luminar Preferences in the referenced document.

Please note that this feature is present only in the MacOS version of the app.
