Does no one have any ideas on this? I have tried uninstalling both Nik filters and Luminar 3 (several times) but I cannot get Luminar to recognise any plugins, neither Nik nor Photolemur, both of which are recognised on my other Mac.

    Hi Roger,

Sorry for the delayed response. It has been a hectic week for the support team.

What you need is a .plugin file on Mac. You can then point Luminar to those files and the third-party app should launch.

If you have (or have previously had) Photoshop installed on your iMac then the .plugin files are probably already present in a folder and were automatically detected by Luminar. You can find and copy these .plugin files from your iMac to your MacBook or you can contact Nik/DXO and request the associated .plugin files.

    Hi Roger,

One more quick followup re: Photolemur -

The .plugin file should be here:
    /Library/Application Support/PhotolemurLLC/Photolemur3/Plug-Ins

    If there's no such folder:
    -start Photolemur
    -click Photolemur > Install Plugins
-enter your Mac user password when prompted - the folder should be there now
