    Do I understand it correctly that you're getting Database Initialization Failed error when starting Luminar? If yes, here's the sequence that should help:

    1. reboot your PC.
    2. locate your Luminar Catalog folder and remove it. If you created a catalog in a custom location, remove it as well.
    3. start Luminar. Specify a folder with photos that is different than the folder you specified before encountering the error.

    Luminar Catalog folder will be created in your Pictures folder again, this is normal behavior. This folder is needed for Luminar to function. The key to the whole procedure is removing the misconfigured Luminar Catalog folder.
