So it means that any star rating within Luminar is only internal to Luminar which means that it makes sense only those who use ONLY Luminar!

    That's bad news....

    Hi.

I like to upload xmp file with Creative Commons License to my photos. Then this is not posible for the moment?

    and other question?

Where is the file with the modification or settings applied to the photo? In Adobe is a xmp file.

    Thanks.

At the moment Luminar doesn't read sidecar files, what you're seeing is normal behavior. We'll add keywording and IPTC data in the future: https://skylum.com/luminar/roadmap

IPTC is hopefully sometime in 2019 based on the roadmap;  But here is no mention of showing image gps location.........

well two years later and still no change. Its a bad way to go, since that makes luminar mostly incomatible with any other application that offers more sophisticated options for metadata management

For now, there is no such functionality to read sidecar files.

In Luminar 3 all the edits are stored in the Database which is located in Luminar Catalog folder.
