Can't see that Luminar is a plugin despite pressing on install plugin
Hi,
I was trying to install Luminar as a plugin in Photoshop CS5.5
It does not show on Photoshop that there is any plugin from Skylum.
Yes, I performed ALL the instructions of how to install it (PS was not on, pressed on Install etc.)
I would like to know if I can MANUALLY add any plugin files into the PS folder so it will show as plugin please.
Cheers

Hi Ryan,
Here are the instructions to install the plugin manually:
- Make sure Photoshop is closed.
- Download the plugin from here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9vo3fq8376q8vh3/Luminar2018-1-3-1-ps-plugin-win.zip?dl=0. Extract the file from the .zip folder.
Check out this page if you need help extracting the file: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14200/windows-compress-uncompress-zip-files. You should get a file that has .8bf extension.
- Navigate to the Photoshop Plugins folder. The default path is: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop version name\Required\Plug-Ins\Filters
For Photoshop CS5 and CS6 the path will look like this: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop version name\Plug-Ins\Filters - Copy the .8bf file into the folder you've opened in Step 3.
Let us know how it goes!
