Luminar 2018 to Luminar 3 update (Mac)

Hi there ... When the free update to Luminar 3 is supplied to Luminar 2018 owners on December 18, will the resulting app be a separate app resulting in two separate Luminar apps, or will Luminar 2018 be upgraded to Luminar 3, resulting in only one Luminar app. My preference is for the first.
