Creative Cloud Plugin Issues

I am running Adobe Photoshop CC 2018. I transform my background layer into a smart object. I then add Creative Cloud filters (i.e., noiseless, focus). When I click the eye to the left of the filter in order to preview then the filter is relaunched. Why is that?

  Correction - I meant when I click the eye on/off

  My guess is that the filter gets switched off completely when you turn the layer visibility off, and is switched back on when you turn the visibility on. Creative Kit are our legacy apps and, unfortunately, we won't be providing new updates or bug fixes for them.

  Thanks for responding. In other words, you do NOT maintain apps which are less than two years old  - Creative Kit 2016. Yes?

  Hi Peter,

  The Creative Kit and its included apps have been around for more than 2 years - 2016 was just the most recent major update. Since then we've released Luminar which is available for both Mac and Windows (Creative Kit was Mac only) and it includes much of Creative Kit's technology.
