How to download LuminarAI 1.3.0 M1 compatible version

    Do we have different "sub"versions with Luminar AI 1.3.0?

    The Intel Version says 1.3.0 (9155) and the ARM M1 Version says 1.3.0 (9133).

    Apps like MacUpdater did notify me that I am not up to date.

    I'm very pleased to report that after not being using L4 since I went to Apple M1 (in Jan) today marks are huge milestone. I deleted the old version and installed the latest version (follow instructions) and everything works great! It now works as a plug-in to Photoshop M1 version. *Also, for C1 users; you will need to delete old version and reinstall M1 version. I don't know if L4 works as a plug-in to C1?

    Hi guys!

    @Stefan,

    The M1 version has a different build number, but it's the same app version - 1.3.0. 

    The only difference between the builds is that the native support of the M1 chip.

    @Steve, 

    Our apps aren't officially integrated with Capture One. You can try the workaround outlined here; however, we cannot guarantee that it will work smoothly in M1 machines since Luminar 4 runs only via Rosetta 2.

    Do not forget to backup your catalog before anything !

    Once you've followed the process, it is really incredibly fast and reliable. (M1 rules !! ;-) )

    Why is Luminar AI not a Universal app? That way user does not have to download different versions.

    So I have a M1 Mac.  I upgraded and had the old intel Mac with Luminar 4 for photoshop and used it as a plug in.  I read all the above posts.  When following the above instructions the process above only instals a trial version of Luminar AI and not a working copy of Luminar 4.  I only have a key code for Luminar 4.  I don't want to buy Luminar AI.  Is there any other work around or solution.

    Hi,

    Please note that Luminar 4 doesn't have native M1 support yet. We would suggest using Rosetta 2 emulation, since it allows to run the plugin and the results should be as expected.

    It seems that each one people with very slow release instances (forty seconds and up) are on Mojave... Together with me as you can visit.
    Skylum is that this gonna be fixed or no longer ? Again my Mac has no issue by any means with Luminar four, simplest AI.

    Hi Bgu,

    Do we understand correctly from your comment that the problem of Luminar AI slow performance occurs?

    Reinstall the application in the following way (make sure to save all necessary results in advance):

    • Delete the app with AppCleaner. Download AppCleaner from here: http://www.freemacsoft.net/appcleaner 
      Drag Luminarᴬᴵ from your Applications folder into the AppCleaner window. When removing Luminar, mark all the files and folders in the list, except for RTW788AXG3.com.skylum.luminarAI.
    • Go to Pictures -> Luminarᴬᴵ Catalog and rename this folder (if you have created the Catalog in another Location, please navigate there and rename the Catalog folder).
    • Open Luminarᴬᴵ Catalog folder, locate the file LuminarAI Catalog.luminarai and change its name too. 
    • Go to Application Support (launch Finder > Go > Go to Folder > paste /Library/Application Support/Skylum Software and delete LuminarAI folder.
    • Go to Terminal and paste: defaults delete com.skylum.luminarai , then press Enter
    • After that please install Luminarᴬᴵ back from the link below: https://downloads.skylum.com/luminarai/mac/Luminar_AI_Release.dmg

    If the issue persists, send us the following information via support@skylum.com:

    - How many images are there in your Library? Please send us the screenshot of your Catalog file structure.
    - Where are they located (on an internal or external drive)?
    - How much free space there is on your drive?
    - What edits are applied to the image? You can screenshot the History tab.
    - How much time do the operations take on your end?


    Let us know your hardware configuration. Click on the Apple logo in the upper left corner of your screen, click About This Mac, and take a screenshot of the window that opens. Check out this article (click this text to open the link) about making screenshots on Mac if you need help with that.

    I I’m very dissatisfied as my Luminar four continues constantly crashing on my Mac  OS , it’s in no way completed this before buy shoes. I use it for maximum of my picture editing . Please provide an explanation for why that is all of a sudden taking place
