Snapheal etc. not working in Big Sur
AnsweredIf I'm understanding correctly, my full suite of Luminar products (Snapheal etc.) will not work in Big Sur OS, and I need to repurchase them. Is that correct? I've been buying your products for years and liking them, but this would be a deal-killer for me. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Ace,
Creative Kit (including Snapheal), Luminar 3 and earlier versions, Aurora HDR 2018, and earlier versions are our legacy applications. They are no longer supported and were not made compatible with macOS Big Sur.
You may experience crashes on export when using them. To work around that, click on the 'Export' button, select 'Open in Photos' option, and export an edited photo that way: https://prnt.sc/vjf8fm
There's no need to repurchase these legacy products. They are no longer sold. What you may consider is getting the latest version of Luminar (Luminar AI) and Aurora HDR.
If you have Luminar 2018 (or Luminar 3) and your OS is Big Sur, we can provide you with a free Luminar 4 license so you could keep using our editor on Big Sur. Luminar 4 is fully compatible with this operating system. To redeem your code, please get in touch with us at https://skylum.com/support

Hello Uli Fuchs,
I'm terribly sorry to hear about problems you encountered. Can you please kindly reach us via https://skylum.com/support, so we can check on why Aurora HDR 2019 does not work as plugin any more?
As for the Snapheal and previous Aurora versions, those are our legacy apps. Since they have not been updated for a long time, there might be some issues with functionality on new OS.
Look forward to your e-mail.
