Do reach out to tech support.  For my issues anyway, there is a new build which appears to have solved my problem.  I've been working with JPG and RAW files and the software is working very well.

It is still very slow, particularly when loading my RAW photos.  Thumbnails can take a long time to open too, regardless of file type.  This isn't a huge deal for me as I've decided regardless to shoot extra fine JPGs on my Sony instead of RAW.

There is hope everyone!
