I installed P3 in Jan. of 2021.  It will not save in Mac Photos when used as a plug-in.  I have read posts on here that have had the same issue.  Those posts are a year old.  I would expect this issue to have been solved by now.  I specifically ordered this software to be used as a plug-in.  I researched on line before buying and sites recommended P3 as a great plug-in for Mac Photos.  Seems a bit like false advertising.  I have owned and own many Skylum products.  Also seems like all the attention is being given to Luminar AI while not attending to sustaining their other products.  Won't be long and AI will be relegated to the back burner:(

  I already had the latest version, but went ahead and uninstalled my copy.  I then re-installed using the link you provided.  Didn't make a difference.

  Hi Kristine,

  Sorry for the inconvenience. That's a known issue with Photolemur used as an Extension of Apple Photos on Catalina or Big Sur. There's a task to fix it, however, right now, there's no precise ETA for the corresponding update.
  However, the app should be working fine in the standalone mode or as a plug-in to Lightroom or Photoshop.
