    Hello Günther Breitfuß,

I appreciate you sharing your feedback with us. Can you please kindly send us several images, where chromatic aberrations were not fixed correctly? We will make sure to test them and see how we can improve this functionality.

Here's how you can send us the files:

    1. Visit https://wetransfer.com/
    2. If it's your first time visiting this website, it might ask you to purchase a subscription. Simply select to proceed with the free version.
    3. Click Add your files.
    4. Select the file(s) on your computer.
    5. After you see all the files you need to send appear in the list, click the icon to the left of the Transfer button (the icon looks like a circle with three dots in it).
    6. In Send As select Link.
    7. Click Transfer.
    8. After the files have finished uploading, click Copy Link and paste it into your support request at https://skylum.com/support

Here are my testfiles. Zoom at the bird on the left side an see the chromatic aberrations. These are extreme in Luminar after opening the file - before correcting it. The correction in Luminar remains unsatisfactory.
In Lightroom, the effect is already displayed much less after opening der file. The chromatic aberration can be completely corrected.

    Thank you!

I also wish that chromatic aberration could be corrected better. To be honest, no RAW converter can match Lightroom. I also tested ACDsee Ultimate 2021, ON1 Photo RAW 2021 and Affinity Photo. None of the programs creates a perfect result like Lightroom does. It would be great if Skylum would train their AI to elimate such errors instead of letting the AI change the sky to create a fake photo (just my opinion).

My answer is about the automatic fixes. If I use manual correction with ACDsee Ultimate, for example, the color borders can be completely removed. But it's about letting the software do it automatically, and there Lightroom seems to be the #1.

With Lightroom you also have to push the controls a little until it's perfect. Luminar doesn't have any options.

    Thomas

Is there going to be a fix or a software update anytime soon that will add this feature to work? I noticed on some recent pictures that the function does not work at all.

    Hello Myke.

Could you please specify if it does not work on all of the images or only on specific ones?

    Hey Myke,

it isn't a bug in Luminar AI. The automatic removal isn't perfect in any app. But the most of them give you the ability to finetune the effect manually. Few weeks ago, i've bought DXO Photolab 4. I've just made a little comparison of the CA removal: https://youtu.be/0SWJenTtdjc
I hope Skylum will enhance the CA removal.

    Regards
    Thomas

Austin, It's on all images that have CA. Also, I'm still using version 1.0.1 on my Mac as I've heard that there are many bugs on version 2 so I have not updated yet. Anyone else having issues with version 2 on a Mac?
