How to Undo a Mistake in Cloning

I have Luminar 4. 3 for Windows. I asked for help with how to undo cloning mistakes, and here's what I got:

As for Erase / Clone and Stamp: you need to click Done and undo the creation of a new erased / cloned layer. 

I understand "click Done," but I don't know how to "undo the creation of a new . . . layer." I don't want to start all over if I just made one mistake at the end of my cloning. Can you explain better how to fix cloning mistakes?

  Hi Sally,

  At this time, you can only undo edits when the Clone&Stamp or Erase tool is closed in the Windows version of Luminar.
  For now, there's no "local history" in Clone & Stamp and Erase modes, however, we will definitely consider changing that in the future.

  Really? You'll consider a change to improve Luminar 4? C'mon, Helena, you know that'll never happen. Skylum needs to be honest with their customers.
