Is there a reason that the CEO’s statement you referred us to in #1 above has been removed? What are you guys hiding?

    Hi Matt Orth!

I'll investigate why the post was removed.

If you have any questions related to Luminar 4, you can ask them in this thread.

    Hi others Customers

Bad news ... it seems that there are no more Roadmap for Luminar AI.

Luminar AI Roadmap has been burried. Skylum team cannot find it anymore!

Poor little thing, dead after one year!

All this bad experience with Luminar AI teaches me to be wary of the influencers. Many of them are not trustful. Most of them didn't report the flaws of this buggy software!

    Hi Black Eyes,

Let me kindly note that the roadmap question was referring to Luminar 4. We're still investigating what the post was removed. However, as was mentioned earlier, we'll be glad to answer all your questions regarding Luminar 4 here.

As far as Luminar AI is concerned, I would like to reassure you that we continue to support Luminar AI and improve its performance, add support of new cameras, and ship compatibility updates.

    Hi Anastasiia,

Sorry, perhaps I need new glasses. I have re-checked, it seems that the title of this thread is "Luminar AI Road Map " or ...???

Concerning the "re-assurance" I have seen it several times already on the forum, for examples "it's our first priorities  "blablabla ...". Now for one year, what improvements Skylum has brought to improve performance, RAM usage ... ???

Now can you show us also the "Luminar AI Road Map " or again it's again an abandonware?

We need real facts and not just some empty words!

    Hi Black Eyes,

We do not have a documented roadmap for LuminarAI, however, the software will still be updated with compatibility and performance updates.

The original roadmap was for Luminar 3.  They removed it when they weren’t achieving many (if any) of the targets.  There’s a thread somewhere where they promised a change log instead — someone pointed out they’re not the same thing.

Anyway, the reps then started pointing to the missing CEO statement as the replacement  for the roadmap.  In it, he wrote:

    - we said we were going to produce a Lightroom replacement
    - that was the wrong goal.  We’re not going to do that.  If that’s a problem for you, you can get a refund
    - we’re not going to provide the things you’re asking for because I have a vision of what this software should be

it was really a pretty arrogant, “I know what you want” kind of statement.  I’m not surprised you guys pulled it and aren’t planning to republish it.

    Hi G Mitchell,

There is indeed no road map, but I will let the team know about your willingness to have it.

As far your questions are concerned:

    1. Here is the answer to the question from our CEO: https://community.skylum.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360009673340-where-is-the-roadmap-for-Luminar4?page=1#community_comment_360002146140

    2. LuminarAI doesn't have a dedicated watermarking tool, but there is a workaround for adding a watermark in LuminarAI . Go to the Augmented SkyAI tool located in the Creative tab, simply click on the dropdown menu to choose an object to add, then scroll all the way down to Load Custom Image as shown here: https://prnt.sc/w0lg2j

You can also add a watermark as a texture using the Local Masking tool, see the screenshot: http://prntscr.com/w13tmf

These videos can be helpful: https://youtu.be/NTu51eBVCbE and https://youtu.be/TumoVTFhcIg

    3. That would be a nice suggestion for the future improvements.

4.In our other applications, third-party plug-ins are supported and send back the processed image as a new layer. One of the changes in LuminarAI is the switch from layers to a Local Adjustments tool and smart segmentation of our AI-powered tools. This is why there will be no third-party plugin support in LuminarAI.
