Lminar AI 1.01 - Incomplete Erase
AnsweredAfter updating to the latest version 1.01 I discovered a faulty Erase function. In the attached photo (filename: Original) I wanted to get rid of the white object in the lower left corner of the picture using the Erase function. But only a minor part of the object is being erased in spite of the whole object is chosen (se file Erase1). A new pass of the Erase functions rals emoves only a part ogfthe remaining object (see file Erase2).
The white object can be erased completely in Luminar 4 and in version 1.0 of Luminar AI. So there seems to be a bug in the Erase Function of version 1.01.

Hi!
I've checked your image and wasn't able to reproduce the problem - https://prnt.sc/xnwjaj
Could you please try to reinstall LuminarAI and see how it works then?

Hello Victoria
Following a reinstall of Luminar AI the problem is now solved.
I initially updated from within Luminar AI using the Check for Update function both on my iMac and my MacBook. And exactly the same problem with the Erase function appeared both computers. And both are now g"cured" by reinstalling Luminar AI via my Skylum account. So the problem seems to be related to updating from within Luminar AI.
Thank you very much for helping.

Sorry to bring some additional information about this. The actual problem with the Erase function appears after I have first used the Composition function and after this using Erase to remove the minder of the white disc. If I start by using Erase of the white disc in the original file it is completely removed and does not reappear after using resizing in the Composition function.
So I can still reproduce the problem after I first use resize to remove some of the left side of the picture (but not all of the white disc) and then use Erase to remove the remaining part of the disc.
Strange !!
