Why does the export image dialogue always open one folder down?

This is so frustrating. My workflow, for now, is add photos to a collection in Lightroom, export to a new folder called Luminar AI created in the original photo location.
Open Luminar AI, Add Folder with images and edit the image.
I have no issue with the applying templates, editing dodging and burning etc and has come to terms with losing my EXIF data. Actually, the Denoise is very good.
What I have noticed previously and now confirmed is that the Export Image dialogue is not persistent, ughhh, but far far more annoying it always select one directory down from where the Luminar edited photo is. Why why why?
Are you guys just messing with us? Cause its working....

Can you please kindly confirm how exactly you invoice Lightroom as plugin?
We suggest following these steps:
- Right-click on the image > Export > LuminarAI > You have an option to Open Source Files or, if you've made any changes in Lightroom that you'd like to transfer over to LuminarAI, you can also choose Edit a Copy with Lightroom Adjustments.

Can you please kindly clarify this point? Is image from Luminar AI plugin returned to incorrect album/folder in Lightroom?
