Data initialization Failed error

I have installed Luminar Ai for a while now. Created the Luminar Catalogue on a different drive and it has not been a problem. All of a sudden today Luminar AI won't start giving me this error message. I trying re-installing and chose the repair option. Problem persisted. I uninstalled the software and installed it clean. Same result. Please note that i also have Luminar 4 installed, which works just fine.

In this case, we will kindly ask you to follow the steps below:
Please try to perform the following steps:
- Close LuminarAI
- Type %appdata% in Search (folder Roaming should open);
- Find the folder “LuminarAI ” and rename it (it remove your activation for LuminarAI too);
- Start LuminarAI and proceed with the activation again.
If it doesn’t help go to the Pictures folder > rename LuminarAI catalog on your different drive.

Thank you Helga. It seems to have worked. My question now is what happens to my existing AI Catalogue. When i choose "change" and locate the existing one manually , i am asked whether i want to replace it with new. I go to file and try to select "Open Catalogue" and after i do select the renamed catalogue i get same message (database initialization failed). Is there a way to import the old catalogue into the new activation or is it corrupted beyond repair? Thank you for your help.
