When I download a new template where do Isave it too on my computer ?

  Hi!
  Roy is right. You can save templates to any location.

  To install a template collection in Luminar AI, follow the steps outlined below:

  If you’re on Windows: 

  • Launch LuminarAI.
  • In the top bar menu, click LuminarAI> File > Add LuminarAI Template Collection.
  • In the window that opens, navigate to the folder where the downloaded Template Collection file (.ltc) is located and select it. 
  • Done! The new templates will appear in the Templates tab > My collection (a star icon) > Purchased.

  If you’re on Mac: 

  • Launch LuminarAI.
  • In the top bar menu, click File > Add LuminarAI Template Collection.

  On Windows 10 the default location for downloads is the 'Downloads' folder. That said, you can save to any location of your choice.

  Thanks Helga, that's really where I was having problems. Didn't know how where to find them in AI or add. Love the new AI Luminar. I had Luminar 3 in past and was having problems on Windows 10 but AI is working great. Thanks so much for making editing easier and more fun.

  Hi, some of the downloaded files are JPGs-are they able to be downloaded into AI the same way?

  Hi Ergo,

  Most likely you're referring to Sky pack.

  SkyAI will work with your photos if they are in one of the following formats: JPEG, PNG, and TIFF. 

  First of all, please unzip the downloaded pack. On Mac, simply double-click the zipped file. On Windows, right-click the .zip file to select Extract All, and then follow the instructions.

  Here’s how you can upload custom skies:  

  • Load a picture with the sky that you want to replace in Luminar.
  • In the top-bar menu, select the Edit tab.
  • In the right Tools panel, scroll down to the Creative section.
  • Choose SkyAI > Sky Selection. 
  • Scroll down the list of the pre-installed skies > Load Custom Sky Image. 
  • A dialog window will open where you'll need to navigate to the folder with your skies and choose the one you need. 
  • Confirm the selection and enjoy the tool!

  If you'd like to add these skies to the default menu drop-down menu, click SkyAI > Sky Selection > Show Custom Skies > copy the skies to the folder that opens. 

  We recommend keeping no more than 50 skies loaded at a time for better performance.

  As far as this is concerned if we upload our own sky is tiff preferred ?
