Converting film negatives to positives

I'm new here and have the following question:

I frequently digitize old negative film material and have been using a variety of methods to convert negatives to positives (PS, Vuescan, Silverfast etc.). Is there a procedure to process  negatives likewise in Luminar4 or ai?

  Hi,

  If you have a scanned negative and want to convert it to a positive, here's how you can do it:

  1. Open your negative image In Luminar 4

  2. Go to Creative tab > Texture Overlay tool

  3. Load a pure white image (Load Texture)

  4. Increase the Opacity slider to +100

  5. Change the blend mode to "Difference"

  The simplest way is as follows:

  1. Open your negative image in Neo

  2. Go to Edit tab > Develop > Curves

  3. Reverse as shown in screenshot
