Luminar Ai RAW editing - commands greyed out
AnsweredI open a RAW image and pick template but it does nothing to the photos. When I click on edits everything is greyed out. I clicked on Essentials, creative, Portrait Etc but nothing is happening.
Luminar AI works fine for jpg but not for RAW (Samsung NX1/NX500 raw). If I select RAW file everything is greyed out. Samsung RAW is supported as per the camera list linked above

Hi Helga, here is the example file. Samsung NX500 RAW.
SAM_3383.SRW
18 MB
I can not edit this file in Luminar Ai as per above description.
Other RAW files from the same camera are editable.

Please, reach out via https://skylum.com/support so we could assist you in a more effective way.
We do believe that it would be more convenient to address the technical issues via email for both sides. This way, we would be able to keep track of the issue in a more productive and easy way. Thanks a lot for your understanding!

Hi Jarrod,
Which camera model? There are several Canon cameras that produce CR3 files and some of them are not yet supported.
You can view the list of supported cameras here: https://media.macphun.com/uploads/uploads/luminar/Luminar_4_430_Supported_Cameras_new.pdf

Hello Chris Colon,
Best to reach us via https://skylum.com/support directly and send us the images you have issues with. Such cases should be investigated separately. Thank you

Canon RAW files here, CR2 also cannot be edited, all the edit features down the right side are greyed out. Export is ridiculously slow, though the last 2 images i tried to export didn't work at all, i've only had this software a few days, beginning to think it's the biggest waste of money so far.

Hi Member,
Most CR2 files are supported, but I encourage you to check to make sure your specific camera is supported here: Supported Cameras
As for editing tools being grayed out, please reach out to our support team at www.skylum.com/support or email support@skylum.com so we can take a closer look at your particular case.
