Preserving the original image capture data
AnsweredI have both Luminar 4 and Luminar AI for windows. I almost always open from within Lightroom or PS. When opening withing Lightroom and then saving it changes the date to the date the image was modified by Luminar thereby rearranging my photos withing Lightroom ( I sort my capture date). I would always prefer it maintains the original date. Is there a way to change this? I would think most people would want it this way.

Hi Chuck,
After applying adjustments in Luminar, the photo transfers back to Lightroom as a copy since Luminar does not modify the original RAW file. The edit will have a different creation date and you'll need to assign a star rating to it, as it is essentially a new file.
However, such EXIF as capture date, lens info, etc., should be preserved (see: http://prntscr.com/q98tqp)
We recommend using the plugin this way: right-click on the image > Export > Luminar 4 > Export a photo with Lightroom adjustments/Open source photo.
Please try doing so.
