How do you add water marks in AI
AnsweredI have just purchased AI after using L4 for a long while. I now understand that layers aren't available in AI therfore I was wondering how I can add water marks successfully to my photos?

Hi Laurence,
Instead of layers, we’ve added a new Local Masking tool that lets you overlay textures or make targeted adjustments.
There is a workaround that should allow you to add a watermark to the image in Luminarᴬᴵ:
1. Please make sure your watermark image has a logo placed exactly where you would like to see it on your image. For example, if you need a logo in the bottom right corner, it should look like this: https://prnt.sc/w0h93k
The reason for it is that you will not be able to move the logo to the corner of the image within Luminarᴬᴵ - you will only have the option to zoom in or out.
2. In Luminarᴬᴵ, go to Local Masking tool: https://prnt.sc/w0gzts
2. Choose Add > Texture: https://prnt.sc/w0h0qx
3. Click on the Load Texture button and choose your logo image: https://prnt.sc/w0hacg
4. Adjust the logo by setting the blending mode, opacity, and other options you may find here: https://prnt.sc/w0hb4q
We also have a video tutorial that may be useful: https://youtu.be/TumoVTFhcIg
