Earlier this year in this community (https://community.skylum.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360008345660-HEIC-import-issue-Win10), there was a thread about the lack of support for HEIC files in Luminar 4 for Windows, even though those files COULD be managed in the Mac version of the product. The guidance offered to Windows users was to convert files to be edited to DNG.
Now, many months later, Luminar AI is out and there is STILL no support for HEIC files in the Windows version.
The most galling thing about this lack of support for a file format that is ON BY DEFAULT IN EVERY NEW iPHONE is that Luminar AI was allegedly built from the ground up and you still chose not to include support for a file format that has been around for more than three years.
I don't want to have to convert every one of my HEIC files to DNG for use in Luminar AI. If Mac users don't have to do that, Windows users should not either.
Is adding this support for Luminar AI for Windows on your roadmap?
