Luminar AI Apply Woes...

Finally after mucking around for ages I've got both Photoshop and Lightroom Classic to recognise and boot into Luminar AI when prompted to, coming from Photoshop Luminar AI offers me an apply button to resave altered file back into Photoshop, however this doesn't happen in Lightroom Classic, no apply button at all, cannot resave into LR only export..

Surely I'm not the only one ?

Anyone have a reason why ?

  Hi John,

  Could you please try to access LuminarAI from Adobe Lightroom this way?

  • Right-click on the image > Export >  LuminarAI > You have an option to Open Source Files or, if you've made any changes in Lightroom that you'd like to transfer over to LuminarAI, you can also choose Edit a Copy with Lightroom Adjustments.

  If you invoke the plugin this way, the Apply button should appear. 

  Besides, please try the following:

  1. Quit all Skylum apps.
  2. Launch Lightroom.
  3. Click Lightroom in the upper left corner of your screen > Preferences > External Editing.
  4. In the Additional External Editor section set Preset to Custom and Application to Not Specified.

  5. Restart Lightroom.
