    My configuration is Intel i5 / 12 GB RAM / 2GB GPU / IED Hard Disk / Windows 10

    I am trying to export image Panorama (8,888 pixels x 3,760 pixels) jpeg file with Sky replacement and it’s just stuck at “Exporting 0 of 1” for the past 15 minutes.

    Hi Raymond Gonsalves,

    Please try reinstalling the app in the following way:

    1. Go to “Apps and Features” by right click on the Start button;
    2. Find Luminar there and click [Uninstall] (you can also uninstall from the Control Panel);
    3. Type %appdata% in Search (folder Roaming should open);
    4. Find the folder “Luminar AI” and delete it (it deletes your license for Luminar AI too. Please, note that your Custom and downloaded Looks will be removed, so make sure to save them somewhere);
    5. Go to Pictures and rename the folder called Luminar AI Catalog (if you have your Catalog anywhere else, find it and rename it).
    6. Install the app once again and launch it: http://skylum.com/download/luminar-ai-download
    7. Choose to Create a New Catalog and add a small folder with images or a single image for editing.

    If this doesn't help, please, reach out via https://skylum.com/support so we could assist you with this in a more effective way.

    UPDATE 12/16/2020: If I open up a jpeg in Luminar AI and not apply any changes then export it with a different name. I works fine. If I apply a template and replace the sky then Luminar AI crashes on export.

    Hello Andrew,

    Is your current configuration about the same? My configuration is Intel i5 / 16 GB RAM / 2GB GPU / IED Hard Disk / Windows 10

    Also I do not run any other apps. Use the Windows Task Manager to see what you have running concurrently besides Luminar ai Google Chrome for example is a memory hog... close all browsers if using Luminar ai.

    Yes, it's a little older but similar. I can run Lightroom, Affinity and other programs fine. But luminar crashes almost every time.

    Are you running any antivirus software?
    When does is crash on export only?
    Have you rebuilt your catalog?
    My initial catalog folder was my entire picture folder. I've made it much smaller now.

    Also have to tried opening an image from the "+" Edit Single Image with instead of from the Catalog?

    Only Microsoft AV but I do have a couple of other specific malware tools. It crashes randomly usually when changing tool. Actually export is quite reliable unless I'm using it as a plugin when it doesn't work. I haven't rebuilt the catalog. I have tried importing individual images.

    When it crashes use the Windows Event log to copy the crash report to send to Skylum. Good Luck. After my memory upgrade to 16GB I've been pretty happy with Luminar ai so far. No crashes since.

    Its the same with me, its so frustrating at the moment.

    Even as I got a potent pc with 16 GB of Ram and a Core I5, it crashes with every second foto.

    Sorry guys, but I experienced better with your software

    I'm having the same problem. I can export photos alright as long as I do not use any extra features like clone and stamp, body ai etc. Applying templates works just fine, but that's about it. It cannot be hardware related as I run a ryzen 3900x, 32GB, 6GB GPU set up and luminar only uses about 4GB ram anyway. Can you please fix your software? It's freaking frustrating as it is now.

    I've tried it. It's all the same. It's not about windows limiting luminar, but luminar having bugs and not being optimized. Had similar issues with Luminar 4. It feels like Skylum either doesn't give a damn or they just don't know how to fix it. Either way it's sad.

    ’m a portrait photographer who depends on software that works . I wasted so much time editing just to find out I can export them. I’ve tried every single trick to try and fix . The step by step uninstall method , turning off antivirus and firewalls, changing the display setting on monitor and managing the 3D graphics and boom still crashes .I’m on one of the most powerful computers around . So it back to Lightroom and photoshop plus the customer support sucks.

    Luminar AI Update 2

    I must admit it does not happen all the time but frequently LuminarAI Update 2 does crash on export now quite frequently compared to pre-update.

    Same for me. Working too on a very powerful PC with 32 GB of RAM, an excellent graphics processor and quite often I am not able to export edited images. I do not have any comparable problems with similiar software like DXO photo lab or ACDSee. I am quite convinced that this is an annoying bug of your software, so please fix it.

    Download the new version of Luminar A1. Not it's even impossible to export when starting the software with administration rights. It's crazy. Please work on this bug, which does not appear with any other software!!!

    As u can see I've been complaining about this issues for months. As a professional photographer, i need a program that works. I gave luminar A,I another shot after the latest update, no surprise the problem is actually worse.I can't export any photo it just hangs. At this point, I'm thinking scam and want a refund but no one is responding now. I have no need for a program I cant use.

    It's odd. I upgraded from an older AMD bulldozer chip to a new motherboard and 3700x CPU. Now it's running just fine. luminar just didn't seem to like my slightly older hardware. It was like Luminar kept tripping over itself. Now it flies along.

    Why is this still an issue? If I'd known I couldn't export a Pano from NEO I wouldn't have used it in the first place.

    Hi Jeffrey,

    You should be able to export a file that doesn't exceed 15,000 px on one of the edges.

    If you're unable to do so, please contact us at https://skylum.com/support so we can investigate why.

    If your pano is bigger than 15000 px and you don't want to resize it, we can offer you a refund. To request it, please reach out to us via the form above.
