Hi Stefan Uhlig
Please try the following:
- Make sure Photoshop is not running. If the app was running, reboot your PC before proceeding.
- Right-click the Luminarᴬᴵ icon > Run As Administrator.
- Click Luminarᴬᴵ > File > Install Plugins.
- Click Uninstall next to Photoshop.
- Reboot your PC.
- Right-click the Luminarᴬᴵ icon > Run As Administrator.
- Click Luminarᴬᴵ > File > Install Plugins.
- Click Install next to Photoshop.
In case there's a message You have to install this software first, click Browse, and navigate to where the .exe file of your host application is. After you show Luminar where the host app is, you will be able to install the plugin for the host.

Hi Jayson Tanega,
It sounds like a known issue.
Unlike the latest version of Photoshop, Luminar works with M1 Macs using Rosetta 2 emulation. The app doesn't have native M1 support yet, hence the compatibility issue.
Luminarᴬᴵ is going to be optimized for M1 chips very soon. Once we release Luminarᴬᴵ compatibility update, the plugin should work again. Meanwhile, we would suggest using Rosetta 2 emulation, since it allows to run the plugin and the results should be as expected.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused.
