    Hi Stewart,

Indeed, there's currently no Undo button when using Erase / Clone, and Stamp tools on Windows, as there are some tech limitations with their implementation at this time.

For now, you need to click Done and undo the creation of a new erased/cloned layer.

We're on our way to implement this functionality. Adding local history for the brush strokes was just a first step on the way to undo/redo shortcuts in Clone and Stamp and Erase. That is, we've done a step that will allow us to implement this feature in Clone and Stamp and Erase as well in the future.

    Margaret:

We hear “in the future” a lot.  Does that mean:

    a) in the one update L4 is going to receive before it’s abandoned

    b) in Luminar AI released in December

    c) it won’t be in the initial Luminar AI release, but will definitely be implemented in a free update to Luminar AI

    d) we don’t really have any plan for when it’s going to be implemented

    Hi Matt,

At this time, the answer is D. As soon as we get an ETA for it, we will let you know.

Without undo, the erase and clone stamp tools are just not useable. Today I have to export the picture and then perform the clone stamp in Photoshop. It is so annoying not to have this basic feature provided after about one year waiting.

    Hi R. Lu,

As far as the lack of undo button in a Clone and Stamp mode concerned - I will make sure to share your feedback with the team in charge. Also, we collect customer's requests to bring it to the app in the future.
