I just bought Luminar 4, downloaded and installed it. I'm a full time Adobe Photoshop and Capture One Pro user. I shoot landscapes, portraits and architecture. I shoot with Fuji GFX Medium Format and Sony A7R4, with Fuji X-H1 (APSC) scattered when I can't take my full gear. I was interested in some of the AI features I read about in Luminar, including sky replacement. And wanted to try it out.
I was kicking tires with some of my recent fall shoots and I am noticing that Luminar 4 does not render photos from my cameras properly. At 100% zoom, I notice that the foliage is noticeably not sharp. Same images render at much higher detail in my Capture One Pro, Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
I've posted 100% portions of crops of the same file without any adjustments applied in either Capture One and Luminar. First one is from Capture One while the second one is from Luminar. You can see how much detail I was see in the first one, while the second one does not resolve them at the same level. I've tried them on images from Fuji and Sony cameras just to be sure and I see the same issue.
Are there any settings in Luminar that is preventing it from rendering full preview? Or this is the best it can do?
Thanks in advance!
