Time for a refund
AnsweredI share the problems, reported by numerous fellow users on this forum, when trying to edit and export images. Luminar 4 frequently, freezes, crashes and so on. I have contacted support and followed all the suggestions about uninstalling/re-installing, creating new catalogues etc. along with all the equipment tweaks proposed and all information they have requested. I tried running Luminar 4 on my initial machine which exceeded the spec. set out by Skylon, then later on a brand my new machine that far exceeds the necessary spec. Same problems continue.
It is difficult to reach any other conclusion than that there is a fundamental flaw in the software which Skylon has not corrected. Since the prime purpose of any image editing software is to edit/save/export, if it cannot do this reliably it is difficult to see how it is fit for purpose, despite any other bells and whistles it may have. I now await my requested refund.
