DOWNLOAD AND INSTALLATION OF A SKY PACK

Hi There,

Purchased a sky pack, received the download link. No indication to which directory to download and unzip. so downloaded to desktop and unzipped the files(Screen grab 1). But no files/images present. Tried Sky Selection/Show Custom Skies as per the video but no images. When I select this option the program automatically looks in Luminar 4 directory which is empty. (Screen Grab 2)

Any ideas/solutions?

  Hello Barry.

  First of all, please unzip the downloaded pack. On Mac, simply double-click the zipped file. On Windows, right-click the .zip file to select Extract All, and then follow the instructions.

  Here's how to upload custom skies: 

  1. Load a picture with the sky that you want to replace in Luminar.
  2. Navigate to the Creative Tab (a palette icon): http://prntscr.com/sa3aw7 
  3. Choose AI Sky Replacement tool > Sky Selection. 
  4. Scroll down the list of the pre-installed skies > Load Custom Sky Image. 
  5. A dialog window will open where you'll need to choose your own sky image. 
  6. Confirm the selection and enjoy the tool!

  AI Sky Replacement will work with your own photos if they are in one of the following formats: JPEG, JPG, PNG, and TIFF.

  If you'd like to add these skies to the default menu list, click AI Sky Replacement tool > Sky Selection > Show Custom Skies > copy the sky textures to the folder that opens.

  It is recommended to keep fewer than 50 skies at a time loaded for better performance.
