Do not frustrate yourself as this is standard operating procedure for Skylum. I use Photoshop/ACR for 95% of my workflow. I use Topaz Plugins occasionally. I have tolerated Skylum for their Sky Replacement capability but now that Photoshop has Sky Replacement I will shelf Luminar.

I updated to Big Sur last night and tested Luminar 4 which I use as an extension with Apple Photos. It seemed to work OK - I was able to make edits and then save successfully back to Photos.

I noticed to the extension for Apple Photos is working now, but in standalone mode, you can edit the photo, but once you klick on export, Luminar and all your work is gone....

Ok, updated to Big Sir.  Now when in Photoshop and use Luminar4 to replace the sky, once returning from Luminar 4 the layer is black.  I read somewhere someone else suffering the same thing.  I turned off the option of using graphics processor which did not help.

    Hi guys,

Please see the pinned post here for the most recent info: https://community.skylum.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360009885339-macOS-Big-Sur-Known-Issues

In the meantime, in order to avoid the issue with exporting your image, you can use the following workaround: click on the 'Export' button, select the 'Open in Photos' option, and export an edited photo that way: https://prnt.sc/vjf8fm
