A million people have complained about Skylum not putting real effort into getting their current version of Luminar working properly. I'm on Luminar 3...every few months I have to blow it out for a reinstall. Love the software's ease of use but I just want to edit photos with few problems...now they have 4 and 'AI' coming. Just keep plowing forward I guess. I couldn't convince myself to upgrade given the problems with '3'.
It maxes out my processor and memory every few months to the point my entire computer begins hesitating and locking up. You'd think a quad core at 4Ghz and 16 Gb of RAM that all would be fine but it's not. I'm done swearing over reinstalls (the usual fix)...gonna look into Adobe stuff. More expensive but I don't hear as much complaining there.
Skylum - SLOW DOWN. Get a current version of software stable before you move on to make a new chunk of software that doesn't work well. Your software is cool but it's hardly stable and hasn't been for several versions. I need to move on. I really wish your stuff was stable because it would be fantastic but over time you have to reinstall to fix it and it's getting so old. Maybe stop at 'AI' and spend some time stabilizing that version before you move forward - otherwise you'll end up with upset customers like me who are no longer interested in upgrading or even staying with your product at all.
