    Hi!

I am sorry for the delayed reply.

The number of incoming inquiries has grown up and the reply time is slightly increased.

    Please try the following solution:

    1. Open a photo in Aurora.
    2. Click Plugins >  Other > Open Plugin.
    3. Navigate to the folder where your copy of Luminar 4 is installed. By default, it's C:\Program Files\Skylum\Luminar 4
    4. Double-click Luminar4.8bf. Luminar 4 should open as a plugin in Aurora.

    Hi,

I just purchased/installed Aurora HDR and Luminar 4 and also cannot get the plugin to Luminar 4 to work.  I have uninstalled/re-installed both applications multiple times and also tried navigating directly to the plugin with the same results.

    Was this ever resolved?

I tested using Luminar 4.3.0 (v6886) as a plugin via Aurora 2019: works correctly. I tested using Aurora 2019 as a plugin in Luminar 4.3.0 (v6886): works correctly. Also tested Luminar 4.3.0 (v6886) as a plugin in Photoshop 2020, LIghtroom Classic 2020 and Photoshop Elements 2021: all working correctly for me.

Roy Blackwell Good to know it works for you.  However it does not for me.  I am on Luminar v6886 and Aurora HDR Aurora 1.0.0.2550.  Hoping someone with the same issue was able to resolve this.

    Hi,

I've had this problem since last July, but as of today (16/01/21) the issue still remains.

After contacting Skylum support I was told to reinstall to a previous version of Luminar4 which worked and told not to install any more updates. I was told I would be contacted when a new update was available which fixed this issue.

Back then the pervious version of Luminar4 that worked as a plugin from Aurora HDR was 4.2.0 (5577). The version that I updated to that had the issues and has still got issues was version 4.3.0 (6175). The version I have now is 4.3.0 (6886) which doesn't work. I don't recall updating the software for Luminar4, it must have done it automatically.

The version of Aurora HDR I currently have is 1.0.0 (2550)

I was given this link to reinstall Luminar4 to version 4.2.0 (5577) from Skylum support. you could try it and see if it works for you.
