    Hi Ian Turner,

We are terribly sorry for the issue you encountered with our new update. I can assure you that we are working around the clock to resolve it.

Please, follow the steps below to revert to previous version.

How to uninstall an app on Windows 10 (click this text to open link).

    Clear your registry:

    • Visit https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download?pc
    • Scroll down to the bottom of the table and click Download from CCleaner.com in the first column.
    • Once the download has finished, launch the file and install CCleaner on your computer.
    • Launch CCleaner.
    • Click Registry on the left.
    • Click Scan for Issues in the lower left. Wait for the scan to finish.
    • After the scan has finished, click Fix Selected Issues in the lower right.
    • Close CCleaner.

    Reboot your PC.

Download the previous version of Luminar from here: https://downloads.skylum.com/luminar4/win/Luminar4Setup_offline_420.exe

Once the installer has finished downloading, locate it in your Downloads folder (or wherever you chose to save it), right-click the file, and click Run As Administrator. A prompt might appear asking you whether you wish to confirm your action, click Yes and wait for the installer to load. Then, follow the instructions on the screen.

Yes Helga, I have reverted to 4.2 after going in circles for about 2 wasted hours attempting to find a solution to 4.3 without success.

I followed the process posted and am happily using 4.2.

Very hesitant to try 4.3 now.

try to create a new folder tree TileDataLayer\Database at  C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local ? It's helped me.

    Here's how to do it:

    1. On your keyboard, press Windows logo key+R
    2. In the Window that opens, please paste C:\Windows\System32\config\
Locate the folder systemprofile and open it. Note that you may be asked to confirm whether you'd like to get access to this folder, so press 'Continue'.
    3. In the folder that opens, open AppData > Local
    4. If there's a folder called TileDataLayer, open it. Otherwise, create a new folder named  TileDataLayer
    5. Inside a TileDataLayer folder, create a new folder called Database
    6. Reboot your computer and check whether the issue persists.
