I’ve been using Luminar 4 for a little while, and I just purchased Aurora HDR. I am still a novice with both. I am working with raw (DNG) files from a Mavic 2 Pro, and they require distortion correction. The “Auto Distortion Corrections” checkbox in Luminar 4 works perfectly. Aurora HDR doesn’t seem to have this feature, and I’m trying to figure out the best workflow if I want to work with a raw image in Aurora HDR before passing it to Luminar 4. If I work with the raw image in Aurora HDR first, then export it, Luminar 4 no longer offers the “Auto Distortion Corrections” option as the exported file is not raw. The only way I’ve found to do this is:
1. Open the raw file in Luminar 4 and do only the distortion corrections. Export it to a TIFF file.
2. Open the TIFF file with Aurora HDR and make adjustments. Export it to another TIFF file.
3. Open the file exported from Aurora HDR with Luminar 4 and continue working with it.
Is there a better way that doesn’t involve as many intermediate files?
