L4 update?

Last month you said that L4 would be getting a performance update, either late May or early June. It's now the middle of June and still nothing. When I enquired in early June, I was told that your team was testing it. So, how much longer before it arrives? Getting a bit tired of non-delivery.

  Hi Kim,

  We've postponed the release a bit to perform more testing so that you get a well-tested and improved product. The update is going to be released till the end of the month. Thanks for all your patience and understanding!

  What I reckon you mean is you have postponed the release because, as has been the case every time, it does not work as expected. So it must be pretty bad as your expectations have never matched the user's anyway. Do you not test as you go along? Why is it always, and I mean always, a last minute panic?
  
  Yes we want a robust release that achieves some hefty performance improvements but why are there always issues?

  Be sure we're doing our best to release it as soon as possible. It's not that there is an issue with the update, we are just doing the final preparations to send it to you. Again, we do appreciate all your patience.
