AnsweredHi, Just bought Luminar 4.2.0 and realize that it can not load HEIC file on Windows 10!
Any advise, workaround or to return it?

Hi Rosin,
Please note that, currently, HEIC files are supported only in the Mac version of Luminar.
We'll definitely consider changing this situation in the future, however, for now, there's no ETA for that.
We recommend you to install Adobe DNG Converter and convert your files to DNG file format (which is supported by Luminar).
Please use one of the links below to download Adobe DNG Converter:

I just downloaded the DNG conveter from Adobe but got the error "The source folder does not contain any supported camera raw files" when I pointed it to my photos taken my iPhone.
Advise?

Hi,
Indeed, my bad!
Apologies for this misunderstanding! It looks like Adobe DNG Converter cannot convert Heic to DNG yet.
Maybe you can change the settings on the iPhone to create Jpegs or try the other converter.

This software appears to do a decent conversion and unlike the one mentioned in the article above it is completely free to use. I hope people find it useful.

You may try using this online converter: https://heictojpg.com/

HEIC can't be opened in Windows. If you don't have MAC then I guess your only choice would be to convert them to another file type. Here's what I recommend.
