I wish I could recommend Skylum products to others, but my opinion of the company is solidifying: They create abandonware; they spend on marketing and unhelpful customer service; they don't spend on continuous development of their products.
I have a slew of Skylum products, as I've continuously been surprised and intrigued by the features they offer. But, as time goes by, I'm developing a love/hate relationship with the company. I've seen every product come and go, lasting a year before a new version comes out... all the while, basic ease of use feature requests and bugs are ignored.
Customer service is a joke. They're friendly, which I appreciate, but the answer I continuously receive from them is either, "you're shooting wrong" (in the case of using highlight priority mode) or "we'll look into that" (in the case of any bugs, like extreme noise when enabling ghost reduction).
Then, nothing. No changes. No fixes. No updates adding a simple ease of use feature like having a checkbox enabled by default. NOTHING.
@TreyRatcliff and @Skylum seriously need to change their business model to keep me as a customer and an advertiser. Show me that the company cares about it's customers by fixing the bugs, and implementing the basic feature updates we ask for.
