I am brand new to HDR and have a couple of very basic questions...
Because I do not have any bracketed images I took a landscape photo I had and made 3 versions of it in Lightroom. Along with the original which was exposed fairly well I added a +2 and -2 and saved all 3 images.
I then followed the tutorial and got an HDR image in Aurora HDR 2019.
My first question, Is the "Natural" rendition the result of the HDR processing from my 3 images?
I then proceeded to look at the pre-set selections and selected "Glow" at about 30%. Then as I was adjusting the sliders in the Side Panel I noticed that there was hardly any change in the image as I went from the middle of the slider to the extreme right and then extreme left. Is this normal or have I done something wrong? Im not sure if this is possibly caused by the fact that I used the same image in LR and just adjusted the exposure to come up with 3 renditions.
The differences in the pre-sets at the bottom of the interface were very distinct, however my sliders on the Right Side Panel were barely noticeable, even when I maxed out a setting. Maybe this is a lot more of a fine tuning than the type of differences I see when I work in Photoshop and Lightroom (?).
Any input you can give me would be greatly appreciated. I feel as if Ive done something wrong, but not sure what it is.
Thank you very much for your time and expertise.
best to you,
