    Exactly the same thing has happened to me today! I uninstalled and reinstalled twice but same thing keeps happening???

    I found a solution, Try this :

    1. Holding down the OPTION key on Mac keyboard and start Luminar. Keep holding OPTION key until you see a window with a list of available backups appear.

    2. Select a backup that has been created prior to when you encountered the issue and click RESTORE FROM BACKUP.

    Scott Britton - THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

    I have had crash issues with Luminar for years through various versions. Version 4.2 seems to corrupt easily and when trying to restart the backup listing appears for a nanosecond then disappears. Your solution using the option key is a big big help.

    However, it won't resolve the continual crash issue but it will help me resume work! Thanks again.
