Hi, I've been using the Luminar 4.2 update for a few days now. There has been a lot of progress. In my case the application is stable. The progress I have noticed is on colorimetry (when I compare the results with Capture One, the results seem very good), the 'AI Accent' tool which seems more relevant than before. The tool "denoise" is also very good. There is still a lot of work to do on two important points for me:
1- Speed. Luminar is unbearable when you want to export a JPG (it's much too long whereas with Capture One it takes a handful of seconds...). Speed with other tools as well (Erase for example).
2- The quality of the "Erase" tool. The results are generally bad. I prefer to use Pixelmator for this operation.
3- I'd like to be able to export directly in JPG in "Apple photos" the processed images. This can only be done in TIF (maybe I missed something?).
4- The photo filing system is prehistoric! No geolocation or EXIF management!
To sum up, I still like Luminar but the improvements are slow...Try to focus on the essential functions and not on the giraffes in the sky ;))
