    After installing 4.2 I noticed that Layers are not working. I can ask for an adjustment layer but it is not displayed. Images layers are also not working correctly. Shame it's one of the best features.

    I finally managed to install version 4.2. I don't know how I did it. It's a disaster! Slow, blockages, rendering the software unusable on my machine.

    Please could you provide me with a download link to go back to version 4.1?

    Hi guys! 

    The error that does not allow you to update occurs due to the fact that the app cannot reach our servers for some reason.

    Please ensure that your antivirus or firewall isn't blocking outgoing connections. Sometimes a router may have a firewall.

    If you have Unified Threat Management (UTM) software installed, it can also cause this error, and temporarily disabling it helps fix the issue.

    If the issue persists, try an alternative Internet connection if possible - your provider may have some built-in security that blocks the connection. Some of our users have reported that using a mobile hotspot helps.

    You can also try one of these alternative installers:

    For MacOS: https://downloads.skylum.com/luminar4/mac/Luminar4.dmg 

    For Windows: https://downloads.skylum.com/luminar4/win/Luminar4Setup_offline.exe  

    If the issue persists, or if you are having any other technical issues that occurred after the update, please get in touch with our support team via https://skylum.com/support. Our team will be happy to investigate the issues and troubleshoot them.

    Dear Margaret Bright, will we get an update from within Luminar 4.1 at some point? At the moment, the different installers you point to all lead to a crash and restart of my win 8.1 computer (with or without antivirus). However, going back to the above 411 installer for version Luminar 4.1 works flawlessly. It would be good if the reason for the crash and problem many of us seem to experience can be addressed and a proper incremental update released without having to use an offline installer.     Merci Margaret. MAIS, Super! Tout marche. J'ai téléchargé la version MSI, Lien dans le post ci-dessus. (fichier "base de données d'installation". Ce programme d'installation contient la logique et les données nécessaires à l'installation de Luminar 4.2. taille: 591 mos.

    Pourtant, c'est beaucoup plus lent que la version  4.1. je  pense qu'un correctif sera nécessaire pour rendre le logiciel fluide

    After installing the update Luminar 4.2, the program no longer works. Only the start picture appears and then nothing.
    Had to uninstall Luminar and reinstall version 4.1.1. Now the version 4.1.1 is running.


    Please fix the bugs!

    After update or new clean install of 4.2 version, it looses geometry settings of base layer if it's added a new layer and it's activated a look. I writted in last friday at https://skylum.com/support and I'm still waitting for your feedback. Thank you!

    After much frustration the offline download link worked for me. I have no problem with ANY of my other software "check for updates" working just Luminar 4.1.1. If you produce the best software in the world it's no good to anyone if we can't download it and get totally frustrated.

    Every time, when I see the mail announcing a new update for Luminar 4 I tend to get very excited and I imagine, that this time there will be not more of this not really necessary AI feature and instead of this somme decent possibilities to manage IPTC data or to do keywording or a decent print module, as it was promised long ago. But again this time, nothing of such issues, but again more AI.

    Please get me right, I liked the the editing functions of Luminar 3, after an initial period I like also like the editing functions of L 4, even the AI facilities. However, that is by far not all to a good programm, the organization of my pictures is another issue, which for me and many others is of similar importance.

    Repeating from earlier:  Since the update when I export a photo it increases in MB size by almost double.

    Hi,

    Since the update to 4.2, layers are no longer working, and export doesn't exports the edits I've performed on the image...I'm trying to go back to 4.1.1 but wonder if those above are known issues with 4.2

    Everything was fine prior that update.

    Hi, me again.  I went back to 4.1.1 but noticed that I couldn't view my 4.2.2 Catalog.   So I ended up uninstalling all, then re-installed 4.2.2.  I've tested all my issues and it appears that it's now working after full re-install.   Maybe the upgrade path has an issue.  I'll never know...
