Sarah afaik Luminar does have Batch. You can find it in Main Menu/File/Batch processing or use shortcut Ctrl+B.

thanks so much for your response! I'm so confused... I asked this exact question to Skylum support... and she answered "I'm afraid there is no batch change in Luminar."   I don't own the program yet (because I'm comparing options on programs before I make the switch).. and I've seen other people complain about this lack of a function... so it seems weird that others don't know it can't be done!

    Thanks again!

No problem, just want to let you know that there is a couple another batch options for your workflow in Luminar :)

BTW here is the official user guide for Luminar Batch https://manual.skylum.com/4/en/topic/batch-processing-photos?q=batch

I have used several batch renaming utilities for this purpose some free and some not.  This article may help. https://www.imore.com/how-rename-multiple-files-once-mac

I have used the Built-n batch rename/fromat tool in Luminar and it works very well.

Luminar batch processor is mainly done to process pictures. I also would like to keep my naming structure and I like to name it before I start with editing or conversions. Just renaming without any changes on the file is not possible from what I can see. Too bad, I thought I could get finally rid of Bridge from Adobe.
